I have seen Angels.  They are here on Earth in the form of beautiful souls within enlightened people.

And I have seen demons.  They are also here on Earth, in the form of tortured souls within lost people.

Sound crazy?  If you think so.  But, I believe it’s up for interpretation.

The gifts of the Holy Spirit are wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, working of miracles, prophecy, discernment, speaking in tongues and interpretation of tongues.

Everyone has at least one, and possibly more, of these gifts.  I believe mine are the gifts of faith and discernment, though I have at times experienced the gift of spiritual knowledge.  It took me a long while to discover what each really was and come to understand it all.  I am still learning.

It is difficult to talk about my experiences because the few times I have, I tend to get a reaction from others as if I am absolutely off my rocker.   I assure you, for whatever it’s worth, that I am a very stable and sane person.  (Although, doesn’t everyone pretty much think that of themselves, especially the “crazies”?)

This Christmas season, I urge you to simply keep the Holy Spirit in mind.  Think about it as often as you remember throughout the day.  What spiritual gifts do you have?  Ask God to help you recognize them, and to show you how to use them.   It is amazing and invigorating once you open up your gifts and see the wonders they hold for you and for the lives of others you are close to.
