If it was possible, I would wave a magic wand so that no one would ever experience any kind of anxiety and depression. Well, I would have last year. This year, not so much.
Over the past year I have learned that one person cannot save another from their life lessons. One can, however, help guide another to achieve positive coping skills that lead to a more positive and accepting overall outlook on life.
To help other, we must first help ourselves. As a start, I encourage anyone and everyone to find their artistic talent. It does not need to be art in the traditional sense of writing, painting and music. Some of us have the natural art of reading books to children in such a way that ignites their imagination. Some of us have the natural art of simply listening to others.
There are many expressions of art. I encourage you to find yours. Let your earnest search be a gift to yourself. Do not get discouraged with your art by expecting it to be “perfect” the first, or even thirtieth, time. All art is beauty in a state of development.
YOU are beauty in a constant state of development.
