“This is going to sound crazy,” Peach whispered hesitantly.
“Whaaaaat? Nooooo, there’s never any crazy coming from you!” Beech drawled, then yawned.
If Peach can count on nothing else, she can always be sure Beech will deliver on sarcasm. On that one front, Beech never disappoints.
Peach and Beech are the twin voices inside my psyche. I’m fine with them being there when they are focusing on each other, but it’s kind of scary when they look at me, which they are doing right now because they know I am writing about them.
Weird, huh? Definitely stuff that belongs in a movie about insane asylums, I know. But, don’t try to tell me that you don’t have a little voice in your head, too. It’s called a conscience. Only, mine is split in two since I’m a Gemini. At least I think that’s why.
Peach is the wide-eyed, sweet, adventurous one. She gets excited about puzzles, mysteries and anything new to explore. I like her.
Beech, on the other hand, is just a downer. She always makes us wait to think things through before we go diving into the unknown. As much as Peach and I hate to admit it, Beech is the anchor. She keeps us grounded. We just wish she wasn’t always such a beeyotch about it. That’s why her name is Beech, but she doesn’t care. She embraces it.
Peach and Beech, welcome to The Empath Daily. Behave.
