The Kybalion: “The lips of Wisdom are closed, except to the ears of Understanding.”

Most of those in my circle get a glossy-eyed look when I say something that has deep, spiritual meaning to me. It doesn’t register at all with them. We aren’t on the same channel. I have to remind myself that everyone is traveling at their own pace and their ears will hear what they are ready to understand at that time and place.

Admittedly, it does get lonely at times, though. Even my most enlightened friends are not quite on the same frequency as me. That’s not to say any one of us is better, just different. I know of no one who has tread my path before. It’s not even the less-traveled path, it’s the never before traveled path, spiritually.

Why that is, I cannot reveal. I can only write this blog and hope that the words I have to share will help someone along.
