It was morning in very early Spring. A light drizzle of rain fell from thin clouds to adorn the bare tree branches. Light filtered softly down upon the little town where I live, enveloping it in an iridescent hue.
On this morning, my third eye opened without warning.
As quick as a blink, the world was more colorful. Everything had more depth and detail. It was like looking through an infinitely more vivid lens than the naked eye. I could see the colored aura of trees, the tiniest veins in the leaves of plants, every single color in the irises of my husband’s eyes.
It was unforgettable.
It taught me that the most beautiful moments and memories can even come during mud season. Stay aware, remain grateful for your blessings and you won’t miss them.
Happy Valentine’s Day, my friends!
Heads up, you won’t want to miss tomorrow’s Truesday story!
