Life Crises

My oldest daughter and her friends insist there is now such a thing as a quarter-life crisis. Personally, I think it’s just a new trending hashtag on social media.

Is there such a thing as a mid-life crisis anymore? Or is it ongoing life crises now? Perhaps enduring life crises became so prevalent in our society that it’s now considered just normal life. After all, crises happen to anyone and everyone at any given moment. A crisis no longer waits for one to reach a certain age.

I’ve had plenty of crisis events in my life. My latest is a religious crisis. I’m on the hunt for truth, my own truth, not someone else’s interpretation of what my version of truth should be. This very well may be a lifelong hunt, but it will not be a lifelong crisis. Though I may never discover all that I set out to learn, I have found a great deal of peace that I’m sure I would not have found otherwise.

Crisis addressed and diverted.

Faith over fear. God is Love and Love conquers all.
