This month I plan to read the book Esoteric Christianity by Annie Wood Besant. I find the subject fascinating.

My teacher once told me esoteric knowledge was only given to a select few because if a student were to misuse the information, karmic reverberations would come back to the teacher as well as the student. That is a reasonable explanation, but is it the only reason certain knowledge was kept secret for so long?

This book may or may not answer that question or the many other questions I have on the subject. But, I’ll let you know what stands out as I read it. And, if you feel like reading it, too, let me know what you think.
