Today I pray for the tender hearts of those who grieve the loss of a parent.

May the grace of Heaven be a cradle of healing and comfort for any and all whose mother or father has passed on. May gratefulness for your time together on earth and the promise of meeting again in Heaven soothe your days and light your path forward.

For any and all who have experienced great emptiness and loss from a parent’s inability to love unconditionally, may the fullness of God’s love for you swell in your heart. May you find the courage to forgive, the perseverance to discover God’s purpose for you and the amazing ability to love and guide others on the path of truth.
