Today I pray for parents everywhere across the world.

I pray parents will recognize the gift from Heaven that was given into their care in the form of a precious child. I pray parents will accept the honor and responsibility bestowed upon them to raise a little human into a noble contributor on God’s Earth. I pray parents will seek guidance from above every day in their role as family leaders.

A very special prayer is being said today for two grieving parents in my local community who lost a beloved and well known teenage son this week to a sudden, tragic accident. Please Lord God, if any peace at all can be found in such deep suffering, let it be found. Let the memories of this young man warm the broken hearts of our small town. Let his short time among us make us better in honor of his memory. Please send an army of angels to comfort his family and friends.
